What is cavitation?

At the heart of ultrasonic cleaning are bubbles, created by sound waves as the waves move through water. This is known as cavitation, which is simply the formation of bubbles (a cavity) in water.

These bubbles collapse almost instantly after forming, millions of times per second in our machines, generating intense heat and pressure. This powerful combination gives Torrent Ultrasonic it's exceptional cleaning performance.

What is ultrasonic automatic cleaning? 

Ultrasonic cleaning deep cleans parts of almost any shape, inside and out, with minimal effort in minutes. Ultrasonic frequencies create sudden changes within the fluid, generating sharp changes in pressure inside the bath called cavitation. 

Cavitation makes millions of microscopic bubbles implode against a part immersed in the bath, creating an effect similar to a sonic brushing. Lower frequencies produce larger bubbles, creating higher-energy implosions. Torrent Ultrasonic systems operate at 28kHz, maximizing cleaning power for tough contaminants.

Available in 80L, 120L, 160L, and 240L capacity cleaning chambers, our Torrent Ultrasonic parts cleaners provide a high temperature range, 50-60°C with 10–20-minute cleaning cycles. Combined with our chemistry and service, Torrent Ultrasonic parts cleaners remove contaminants from intricate components, providing a precise clean.

Ultramodern Chemistry

We formulate and produce a range of in-house chemistry, specially developed for ultrasonic cleaning. Aqua-Sol Low Foam is a strong industrial aqueous degreaser, along with Super Bee 300LFG, which also has aviation certification. X-Rust 7 is a neutral pH industrial rust remover. All chemistry is highly effective in the removal of oils, greases, and contaminants; our experts will tailor the right chemistry for your contaminant removal needs.
